reflection; learning outcomes

in terms of reading, i faced some problems understanding words or ideas in context where that effected me in terms of understanding or sitting up my whole essay.
- read more articles, journals.
-struggled on focusing my ideas. or redirecting to the purpose of the topic.
-IRE?
-finding good purpose of the topic.

2.4; What do I still need to know and do for Project Two?

in my research process, i was struggling in some spots. one of those spots was directing my research towards one animal. also, i had a problem of identifying my own purpose of writing this essay. one of the trouble spots i had is expressing to the reader how important animals are. what animal do you think i should choose to focus on? should i write in experience introduction type or statistical type? what do you think of a good purpose of this topic?
one of the strategies that i would use is IRE ( introduce, reintroduce, and explain) in each paragraph because that will help the flow of the essay better and make the reader follow along clearly. also, will help me to convince the reader in whatever information i am writing about. the process steps that i am using is to start by place, time, and purpose and then move on to narrow my information to one animal and then introduce the pros and cons of the causes of animals being endangered where some people say it is caused by nature and other say it is caused by human activities. after i show that people say it is caused by nature i respond to them. my daily goals are to achieve my narrowing and focusing in my essay. the factors other than sitting down is to have enough time at least 2 hours or less a day. also, making sure that i have no distractions, such as eating before starting writing, and all my notes, information, brainstorming ideas are ready.

2.3; Mirriam annotation

in chapters 5 and 6, Merriam discussed the ideas of conducting effective interviews and being a careful observer. first, she discussed the importance of asking several types of questions, such as opinion questions, experience questions, etc. those types of questions would help me in my research to cover all queries that my audience might think of while reading my essay. also, this strategy would help me to search for answers for those questions. this strategy is also related to the idea of being a careful observer because it helps to narrow down my information as much as possible. i am writing about endangered animals and by applying those stratifies i will be able to, for example, to focus on one animal that my audience might be more interested about. also, i could focus on one trouble spot that this animal is facing an issue of extinction. time, place, and purpose are very important to begin with in my essay.
