reflection; learning outcomes

in terms of reading, i faced some problems understanding words or ideas in context where that effected me in terms of understanding or sitting up my whole essay.
- read more articles, journals.
-struggled on focusing my ideas. or redirecting to the purpose of the topic.
-IRE?
-finding good purpose of the topic.

2.4; What do I still need to know and do for Project Two?

in my research process, i was struggling in some spots. one of those spots was directing my research towards one animal. also, i had a problem of identifying my own purpose of writing this essay. one of the trouble spots i had is expressing to the reader how important animals are. what animal do you think i should choose to focus on? should i write in experience introduction type or statistical type? what do you think of a good purpose of this topic?
one of the strategies that i would use is IRE ( introduce, reintroduce, and explain) in each paragraph because that will help the flow of the essay better and make the reader follow along clearly. also, will help me to convince the reader in whatever information i am writing about. the process steps that i am using is to start by place, time, and purpose and then move on to narrow my information to one animal and then introduce the pros and cons of the causes of animals being endangered where some people say it is caused by nature and other say it is caused by human activities. after i show that people say it is caused by nature i respond to them. my daily goals are to achieve my narrowing and focusing in my essay. the factors other than sitting down is to have enough time at least 2 hours or less a day. also, making sure that i have no distractions, such as eating before starting writing, and all my notes, information, brainstorming ideas are ready.

2.3; Mirriam annotation

in chapters 5 and 6, Merriam discussed the ideas of conducting effective interviews and being a careful observer. first, she discussed the importance of asking several types of questions, such as opinion questions, experience questions, etc. those types of questions would help me in my research to cover all queries that my audience might think of while reading my essay. also, this strategy would help me to search for answers for those questions. this strategy is also related to the idea of being a careful observer because it helps to narrow down my information as much as possible. i am writing about endangered animals and by applying those stratifies i will be able to, for example, to focus on one animal that my audience might be more interested about. also, i could focus on one trouble spot that this animal is facing an issue of extinction. time, place, and purpose are very important to begin with in my essay.

intro; i-research

In my whole entire life, I always have been interested in all living things, such as plants, animals, fungi, and even us humans. I have been interested in each living things role in the life cycle of the ecosystem. How important each one is? Could the ecosystem survive without one or the other? The life cycle of the ecosystem begins with the sun which is our solar energy. Plants absorbed this energy as primary producers, and then it is passed to the consumers, such as animals and insects as primary and secondary consumers. Then, the energy passed to the decomposers, bacteria and fungi, where they absorb it from the dead; and the cycle will keep going. Looking at the life cycle of the ecosystem, imagine that animals were eliminated, what would you think will happen to the living things that come after? What would you think will happen to the entire ecosystem cycle? It is not possible to eliminate plants because they are the oldest and the first living things on earth, but it is possible to put many species of animals in danger of extinction because they have evolved and developed themselves.

2.1

\the relationship between all readings is to show us how we write our i-research paper. they focus on what is necessary to write about. what worth knowing about whatever you are searching about is an important question that you can ask yourself. also, another relationship between the readings is omitting information which are not related to your topic. Also, when you write your i-reaserch paper you should write about what you know and what you did not know about whatever your writing about, what did you learn? in the "what worth knowing" reading, it mentioned that you need to ask yourself questions in order to meet the requirements of the paper, such as what is your purpose of writing this paper; that will help you too to know the structure of your paper, "the structure of the subject" (Jerome Burner).

2.2 I-research

i am thinking to research about endangered animals. why are they being endangered? what are the causes? what can we do to save them? what methods could we use? what are the specific animals are being endangered? i am going to look at studies, such as researchers studies. also, read scientific journals. Also, i am going to search for statistics about endangered animals around the globe and why.
